June 8 is #WorldBrainTumorDay.
Every year, more than 8,000 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumor in Germany and worldwide, over 700 new cases are recorded on a daily basis. In addition, more than 25% of all cancer patients will develop brain metastases, known as secondary brain tumors. The most common malignant brain tumors in adults, gliomas, still pose an unresolved therapeutic problem.
At MagForce it is our goal to fight brain tumors from within by forging new therapeutic paths: With NanoTherm® therapy, we have developed an innovative approach based on nanotechnology, which we want to make available to patients all over the world.
Each year, we use our voice to raise awareness for this devastating disease and support the brain tumor centers we are working with in their numerous activities for patients and their caretakers.
Find out more about our activities around WorldBrainTumorDay 2019 in Münster (Germany), Lublin (Poland) and Zwickau (Germany).
„Our goal: to develop an effective cancer therapy for the successful treatment of patients worldwide.“
